Opis stanowiska:
Due to dynamic growth and development of Sony Pictures Global Business Services, an international financial and accounting services centre located in Gdynia, Poland, we are currently recruiting for the position of Accounts Payable Accountant.
AP ACCOUNTANT
GDYNIA, POLAND
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage invoice administration and processing (checking validity and completeness of invoices / credit notes; setting up and maintaining master vendor data records)
Manage vendor documents, including archiving of scanned invoice requests and emergency payment approvals as well as creditor reports
Prepare payment proposals
Prepare electronic payments and checks
Process manual payments
Follow-up and resolve payment issues/ queries, stopping payments where appropriate
Liaise with AR / Treasury
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all intercompany transactions
Achieve performance objectives as agreed with the assigned Team Leader
Review travel authorization requests in line with the relevant policy and entitlement brackets
Handle initial travel requests and process invoices for completed travel
Review T&E claims for adherence with the policy on a sample audit basis
Perform periodic audit of T&E claims
Skills & Experience Required:
1 – 2 years of experience working within Accounts Payable process or any other core financial process in an international environment
SSC experience will be an advantage
Knowledge of IFRS and other regulatory requirements (eg. VAT)
Good working knowledge of SAP
Excellent MS Excel skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to operate in an international environment
Language Skills:
Fluent business English language skills (oral and written) Hungarian, German, Italian, French, Dutch language skills (oral and written) are desirable but not essential
